Almost all of our products are grown and processed within about 2 hours of our location. If we can't visit the farm/lab, we don't want it!
To ensure the test results our processors provided is accurate, we do our own independent tests of products on our shelves.
Bear Dance Market has always been and still is a team of two. We first opened in October 2019; we had one local hemp brand and a handful of products. In 2021, we are managing almost 100 hemp products from half a dozen brands, most of which are local.

Chris (he/him) is a musician, event-planner, and marketing aficionado with the uncanny ability to see the big picture in everything. He’s been throwing events in the area for almost a decade as DJ Pyrite and also runs music bookings for venues. Chris has always been passionate about mental health, neuroscience, and natural remedies. He spends days at the shop reading scientific studies and new legislation regarding the cannabis industry. In his free time, he can be found keeping up with the latest in streetwear and holding full conversations with his talkative husky, Marley. (Named lovingly after Bob, not the sad movie.)
Sarah (she/her) is a self-taught freelance graphic designer and photographer offering a full range of creative services for small businesses under Gray Matters. She has a diligent attention to detail that keeps all the wheels turning at Bear Dance on a daily basis. Sarah uses her creative skills to help make navigating the hemp industry and its products easier for our customers. When she’s not at the shop or doing creative work, she enjoys playing piano, gardening, caring for her houseplants, keeping up with motorsports, and looking for more cats to befriend.
